The Rockford Foresters announced the date of their 2^nd Annual Rockford Foresters 5k Run, which will be taking place on Sunday, August 5 at 9am at historic Marinelli Field in Rockford (home of the Rockford Foresters).

The race, which is $30 ($35 for registrations after July 20), includes a t-shirt for the race, a hot dog and one Miller Lite product.  Division winners will win a metal and the overall male and female winners will not only win a trophy, but a special Rockford Foresters prize pack.  ALL participants in the run will also get two free tickets to a 2013 Rockford Foresters Baseball Game.  This race will be professionally timed as well.
