Chicago, Ill. – Aug. 6, 2023 – Sunday’s scheduled Northern League Playoff games have been postponed due to rain and poor field conditions. Both semifinal series are now scheduled to begin on Monday.

The top-seeded Lake County Corn Dogs will face the fourth-seeded Indiana Panthers in Game 1 on Monday at 7 p.m. at Legacy Fields in Crown Point. Game 2 in the series will take place on Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Highland High School. If necessary, the third game will be at Legacy Fields on Wednesday at 7 p.m.

The second-seeded Northwest Indiana Oilmen and third-seeded Southland Vikings are now scheduled to clash on Monday, Tuesday and, if necessary, Wednesday. All three games will begin at 7:10 p.m. at Oil City Stadium in Whiting.

The Northern League Championship Series will begin on Wednesday night as scheduled if both semifinal series finish on Tuesday. If either semifinal series extends to Wednesday, the best-of-three championship series will begin on Thursday night.
