Francesca De Feo is currently interning with the Midwest Collegiate League as a sports broadcaster. She attends Elmhurst College and studies communications. She is graduating a year early so she can begin her career, doing what she loves most, broadcasting. While maintaining academic scholarships, she is also the Vice President of Recruitment for her Sigma Kappa Sorority. Planning, recruiting, and participating in services to the community, she keeps busy being part of something much greater than herself. Francesca attended York Community High School where she fell in love with sports. Being part of the tennis team, where she loved playing doubles and placed first in numerous conference meets. She managed the wrestling team, where she took part in taking care of the players and learned about the strength an athlete needs to perform. Sports were always in her life from AYSO soccer, to watching her older brother play baseball, basketball, and football. The hype and action of game day became a thrill she couldn’t ignore. With a background in modeling and promotional work for the past four years, being in front of a camera became second nature to her. Yet, she wanted to find an outlet that challenged her writing and public speaking. A natural born conversationalist derived from her Italian heritage, she possesses drive and determination that was instilled in her from her supportive parents, she hopes to build her skills as a reporter and ultimately become a known sports broadcaster.
