The DuPage County Hounds announced today that the team has “adopted” a special pet for their mascot of the baseball team that will be called Page the Dog.
“Page is truly a perfect fit for a mascot for the DuPage County Hounds,” said co-General Manager Joe Stefani “we hope that all fans will consider adopting a pet at a local animal shelter like we did with Page.”
Page will be placed on a leashed while walked around the stadium during game days and will be escorted by a special dogcatcher, who will be announced at a later date. Fans who wish to get autographs from Page during the game can go to his special caged area where he will entertain fans by dancing and running into his dog house when he is bad.
Special events featuring Page before the start of the Inaugural Season for the DuPage County Hounds will be announced over the next few months.
