The four participants for the 2012 Midwest Collegiate League playoffs are now set.
The DeKalb County Liners qualified as the league’s 2012 Regular Season Champions and pennant winner, and will hold home-field advantage for as long as they remain in the playoffs. The Liners clinched the top spot with an 8-1 victory over the Chicago Zephyrs on Sunday.
The Northwest Indiana Oilmen qualified as the league’s second-place team, and will hold home-field advantage for the Semi-Final Series. The Oilmen clinched a playoff spot back on July 21st.
